This year our Indigo team will be participating in the "Crossing for a Cure" A 70 mile journey across the Gulf Steam from the Bahamas to Florida. The board of choice for the crossing is the custom Tiger 14'.

The Crossing For A Cure is a long-distance endurance charity paddle challenge and race that takes paddlers 70 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. The event was inspired because of the incredible health benefits of the Ocean for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease. Travis Suit's daughter Piper was diagnosed with CF when she was four years old.

THE 2018 
The Tiger was developed and designed in collaboration with local surf legend "Admiral" Bill Whiddon. He was the first person to do the crossing back in 2012. After a series of prototypes the end product is a functional, fast, stable and light board, that conforms to the WPA surfstyle race class. This board allows you to enjoy the water recreationally and also be competitive in surfstlye class racing. It surfs great too!
For 2018, the Tiger shape has been modified for better Downwind performance and surf. We have increased the scoop rocker line even more and added volume throughout. The standing position has been lowered, improving the center of gravity and stability. This new shape caters to all levels of paddling enthusiasts.
